My Favorite Summer Dress

 Summer weather is in full effect, and I am trying my best to keep up with the crazy heat. Don’t be fooled by the glamorous photos, I was an absolute “hot mess” during this shoot. Anyone else think that the SoHo streets are 10 degrees hotter, or am I just being dramatic?  Thank God that this off the shoulder mini dress kept me as cool as possible and made me feel like a floral bombshell! How cute is this little romantic number?! This dress had me smitten when I saw it on the rack, and I just knew I had to have it.   Everything about this dress exemplified my feminine, flirty, and chic style. I’m sooo wishing it came in another color.  The excessive detail in Self Portrait pieces always amazes me, and I continue to fall more and more in love with their brand, season after season. Besides falling in love with the intricate lace detailing, the contrast waist band made the dress very figure flattering, which completely sold me on it! This is the perfect piece for any summer party, especially a summer wedding! I’ll take any excuse to get dressed up in this whimsical ensemble! Trix was keen on wearing a flower crown for today’s shoot, but I told her that people would take her more serious in the  floral choker. Luckily, she agreed! What do you babes think? 😉
