The 70’s vibes are at an all time high today! Denim overalls, on their own, were a huge trend in the 70’s and so were flare leg pants, so the look as a whole really covered a majority of the 70’s era! In order to modernize this look and keep it current, I decided to wear an off the shoulder top that features a pom pom trim underneath my overalls. I’m a huge fan of reinventing old styles and bringing them back to life in a new way! Since anything off the shoulder is trending and pom poms have made waves this season…there was no better way to style this look today. As the cooler, crisp weather approaches, I would wear a long sleeve turtle neck under my overalls, or for the end of summer a basic white tee is even appropriate! Trix wasn’t in the mood to go for a walk today, so she decided that me carrying her would be the move – besides, her white pom poms stood out really nicely with the red bag! No complaints here!
What really brought my entire look together was the white pom pom top that was sent to me by Aubrey Busek. Aubrey Busek is a designer and social media influencer, who just launched her own clothing line. What I love most about her pieces are that they are super feminine, chic, and trendy. She hand designs every piece and truly pours out her visions into each one. There is truly something incomparable to the feeling of wearing a custom made garment. It is refreshing to have a custom made piece of clothing rather than a piece that anyone can just purchase at your local H&M or online retailer. Below I have linked the details to Aubrey’s online store, and I have linked the top so that you can all shop it! Happy Shopping!
Hope you all have had and continue to have a great Labor Day weekend! I am so excited that the weather is cooling down so that I can finally start breaking out the booties and fall looks! Stay tuned!
