Would celebrating the 4th of July really be complete without wearing colors that suit the holiday? I am all about incorporating red, white, and blue into my look on the 4th but in a classier, understated way. Patriotic patterned looks can be cute, and I understand it would be easy to just throw on a piece that had the american flag plastered on it, but sometimes it can be a bit tacky! Besides, who wouldn’t want to stand out from the crowd and rock a patriotic look in a more subtle manner? That’s why I’m here to help! Let’s start with this red wrap top I purchased at Haus of Tova in Great Neck. If you’re looking to shop in a boutique where the merchandise is extremely unique, then I suggest you head over there! Not only is the store beautiful, but the owners are so friendly and make the entire shopping experience so fun! Back to this top, I love that it features a deep slit and that it can be tied in the front, back, or side. It can be styled so many different ways, and it is made from 100% silk…a new wardrobe staple for sure. I can’t wait to pair it with white bell bottoms! Today, In order to incorporate some blue and white into my look, I opted for a denim skirt and white heels! You can never go wrong with a denim look these days! Whether you’re off to a BBQ or ready to watch the fireworks, this look will allow you to salute in style!
Wishing you all a safe, fun-filled Fourth of July Weekend! Let me know your plans by commenting below, and follow along on instagram (@styleitwithtrix) to check out what I will be doing on the 4th!
