Must Have Fashion Trend Sweater Poncho

The weather in New York is currently warmer than the typical fall temperatures, and I would simply define it as perfect “poncho weather!” I am taking advantage of the current beautiful weather so that I can rock my ponchos before the temperatures drop.  What I love most about a poncho is how easy they are to style; you just throw one on and you’re practically ready to go for the day! They are also so comfortable, and you can typically dress them up or down. The poncho I am wearing was sent to me by my friends at Design History, and this would have to be my favorite in my closet. What sold me on this poncho is the fur trim on the collar, which allowed me to categorize this poncho as a cozy, yet chic, piece. The fur collar really sets this poncho apart from the rest, and it added some luxe and glam to the rest of my look! Unfortunately, this poncho is currently sold out, but I have linked some similar ponchos below! On a happy note…Trix felt like the chicest doggie in town in her sweater from For Pets Only and her fur collar (she matched Mama perfectly today)!

Today, I went for a comfy and casual look and paired my poncho with velvet leggings and white platform sneakers. The velvet leggings added some color to this look and, of course, allowed me to stay on trend! As you all know, an all-white sneaker is my must-have, so it was the perfect choice since I wanted to emit a casual vibe. By the way, this entire look is perfect for the Holidays…just throw on a black heel bootie and you’ll be ready to take on the Holidays in style! I am also going to restyle this look with leather pants and heeled booties because this poncho is too good for just one look. Stay tuned!!
