Some are under the impression that in order to rock a plunging neckline you have to be more busty. I just want to let you all know that this couldn’t be further from the truth; honestly I think girls with smaller chests rock a plunging neckline in more of a graceful way. The first time I ever considered wearing a dress or top that had a plunging neckline was in 2014, while I was watching the Oscars and making my list of best/worst dressed. Lupita Nyong’o wore a light-blue gown that had a plunging neckline, and she was the talk of that red carpet. She looked so elegant and carried the dress with such grace. Ever since then, I found a way to incorporate more bodysuits with plunging necklines into my closet. For this look, I paired a black bodysuit with pleated olive green shorts and snakeskin gladiators. Olive tones are currently trending – that’s why Trix couldn’t leave her domain in any other color today. The pleats in my shorts gave my look more of a sophisticated vibe. My look maintained a perfect balance of sexy and sophisticated due to pairing pieces that had opposite traits. I hope this blog post encouraged you to “take the plunge” and invest in some pieces that have a plunging neckline?
